Holiday Ceramic Luminaries: Christmas Trees & Angels

Get into the holiday spirit with a fun, hands-on ceramic workshop! Learn simple hand-building techniques to create your own charming Christmas tree or angel luminary. Using a cone-shaped form as your starting point, you’ll add texture, patterns, and decorative openings that allow light to shine through. Transform your creation into a festive Christmas tree or a sweet angel with sculpted wings and a head, adding your own personal artistic touches along the way. After the workshop, your piece will be glazed and fired by the instructor. Finished luminaries will be available for pickup in two weeks to allow time to dry and have two firings. Perfect for beginners! All clay, tools, glazing, and firing are included.

Lana Hall is a multidisciplinary artist and teaching artist specializing in ceramics, silk batik, and fabric art. Through her creative practice, Love and Light, Lana Hall, she encourages students to explore traditional techniques while developing their own unique artistic expression.
